What energy solution did you choose to include in your self-portrait? Why?

• Charlotte – I chose this because there are lots of solar panels in Lansing and Ithaca. I chose this as my solution to all energy. 
• Clara – No Tag
• Conner – A chose it because they’re the best ones. It helps create energy and it helps the earth. 
• Della – I chose my renewable energy because I really love the sun and any solar invention, because it helps many people I know.
• Eamon – I chose wind energy because it was the most confusing to me. It connects to the theme of “in a world full of problems be a solution” because wind energy is a renewable resource. 
• Eli – I chose hydroelectric because in my opinion, it has the least negative side effects. It connects to the theme “in a world full of problems be a solution” by offering us another method of electricity without some of the side effects of other electricity sources. 
• Eleanor – I chose wind energy because wind is a natural source that can be found anywhere in the world. It connects with “in a world full of problems be a solution” because there is lots of air pollution in some places and adding wind turbines or wind mills will make it less polluted. 
• Graham – I chose hydro power because in my opinion it is the most efficient renewable energy source. I think that in a world where pollution is such a big problem, hydro power will be our best bet to slowly reverse pollution. 
• Jonah – I chose solar energy because it’s my favorite out of the 4. It protects the environment in many ways. It connects to the theme because solar energy solves many problems with pollution. 
• Kloee -I chose solar energy because it uses the sun to make energy that is better for the environment. Solar energy helps with climate change which is a problem in the world today. 
• Max – I chose hydro because I like water and the ocean. It connects to the theme because without water/hydro there would be much more problems.
• Sarah – I chose solar and hydro because they were good to represent. People can really see the solar and hydro power. They connect to the theme because renewable energy such as hydro and solar is better for the environment.
• Stockton – I chose wind power because it is just remarkable how people build these huge turbines and I love how they help the environment. 
• Trevor – I included wind energy. It’s clean. It does not pollute.
